Fairtrade – local and global – continues to work in the town, promoting Fairtrade products and supporting local farmers. We took part in the fun day, serving over 400 cups of tea and coffee.
I continue to take the Fairtrade stall to Tottlebank Church on the second Sunday of every month, where it is very well supported.
This year has seen us lose two key members of our team, with Yvonne Travis moving from the area, and sadly the death of Peggy Troll. This has had a great effect on our group, and has seen the cancellation of our winter events. We are hoping to hold our Birthday dinner in the spring.
I would like to thank the people in the Church that support our efforts.
